The Benefits of FLAVA Membership

• Working on a national level with groups that promote language study;
• Working on a state level with the Virginia Department of Education and with state chapters of language organizations in helping to facilitate support of language study;
• Receiving a semi-annual journal and having access to a website with links to information worldwide;
• Providing contacts between educators and business inspiring both to work together on foreign language pursuits;
• Working at a personal level to keep you, as a professional, informed of nationwide and state news concerning language study.

Why Join a Professional Organization?

There are three types of membership available in the Foreign Language Association of Virginia:

• Regular Membership - $20.00
• Student Membership - $10.00
• Lifetime Membership - $200.00

Please help us keep our mailing list current and insure timely delivery of the Bulletin by notifying FLAVA of your change in address. Please send your name, your former address, your new address, and the date on which your new address takes effect to the FLAVA Treasurer, Mrs Jackie Yau.
