FLAVA Bulletin
The FLAVA Bulletin is the official
publication of the Foreign Language
Association of Virginia and is published in
cooperation with the Virginia Education
Association (VEA). It is published on-line twice yearly,
in the spring and fall.
Current FLAVA Online Bulletin [Fall 2011] The fall 2011 FLAVA newsletter was designed by Eric Diggs, now a junior at York River Academy in York County, VA. Teacher Jamie Norton had her entire class propose new designs for FLAVA. Eric’s was chosen for its professional appearance and ease of use. York River Academy is a public charter school in computer and web-based technology. FLAVA hopes this first project with YRA will lead to further partnerships with today’s talented students. FLAVA Online Bulletin Archives Editorial GuidelinesOriginal articles, state association news, and announcements are accepted. All materials submitted for publication must be in Microsoft Word format, single column, single-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 pt., and must be carefully proofread. Please send graphics as separate .gif, .jpg or .png files. Advertising is accepted (for further information, please get in touch with the editor). Deadlines for receipt of materials for publication are February 1 for the Spring issue and July 15 for the Fall issue. Submit copy to the Editor of the Bulletin:
